Els van Steijn (1969) is a graduate of Hotelschool The Hague. It was there that she learned the essentials of professional management, hospitality, and attaining goals in a world of differing and often conflicting interests. She gained further experience in the years that followed through management positions in the service industry, leadership roles, supervising large-scale change processes, project management, and concept development. Els has been working as a team trainer, coach, and constellation facilitator since 2002. People often say the following about her and her work:
- She knows how to motivate people, and she is a calming yet energizing presence.
- She has a way of making even the most complex matters clear and understandable, which helps you grasp the issues.
- She has a talent for identifying the crux of the matter and touching you at your very core.
- She gives feedback in a way that people take to heart and that respects them as individuals. And that approach leads to insights into blind spots.
The results are immediately apparent.
Els founded her own coaching practice in 2008. Since then, she has had the honor of guiding hundreds of clients and principals in their personal and professional growth. Her reputation has spread by word of mouth, allowing her to build a thriving business.
Freedom, quality, growth, and integrity are some of Els’s core values. She has obtained all relevant professional qualifications and has continued to develop her knowledge and skills from this solid foundation. In 2016, she added author to her existing titles of trainer, coach, and constellation facilitator. Her books, The Fountain: Find Your Place, The Fountain: Make Wise Choices, and The Fountain: Celebrate Your Life, are a source of guidance for scores of readers. For many, they have been a true eye-opener.
In her private life, Els loves exercising (including working out at the gym, walking, and hiking), traveling (both near and far, and from roughing it to being pampered), reading, and enjoying the good life with friends and family.
